We are the second owners of a fairly newly built home (which had all beige walls still and very little personality). I share this home (and all my love) with my wonderful husband, a few kids, & two yellow Labrador Retrievers.
I started this blog as a way to document our triumphs and sob-stories while we tackled one little project at a time. I also love a good craft (I get it honestly (hi mom!)) so I occasionally get the chance to blog about those, too!
I married the man of my dreams August 22, 2009.

We met in college at The Ohio State University and dated for almost 4 years before we got married. Days after we got married.
I mentioned that we have two labs. Leif & Soma. They are wonderful dogs but they are SO much work! I am constantly vacuuming! Luckily, they are very well behaved so their fur is the biggest complaint I have of them on an average day.

I know the constant vaccuming you speak of!...I have an Anatolion and a gorgeous Mutt....and they shed like crazy. I believe I could make sweaters out of my Anatolions hair if I wanted to. Lol! I didn't know if I mentioned it anywhere on my blog but my husband flew helicopters for the Army at one time! So we both have aviation men in our lives!
