Well, just to refresh your memory, our neighbor found these wonderful little folding chairs for our kiddos! How sweet was that? Well, the chairs were in pretty good shape, but purple just wasn't our thing. So what's a mom to do?!
9 out of 10 times spray paint is the answer.
My favorite little detail is the little tiny gold feet. I spray painted those first then once they were dry, I taped them off to be able to spray paint the rest of the chairs blue. Luckily, the cushion section came right out. It was only held in by four tiny screws.
The fabric I found on clearance at Jo-Ann Fabrics. It's part of their outdoor fabric line that they had this spring so it's quite a bit thicker than regular material and will hopefully hold up a little better to spills from the kiddos.
Any other salvaged furniture projects, big or small out there? I think the kids will get a lot of use over the years from these chairs. Yay for wonderful neighbors who keep an eye out for great treats for the kids!
